As all loans must be paid back, the federal government has made it mandatory that students complete a Loan Exit Seminar prior to graduation. This seminar will explain and help you understand your loan repayment. Please complete the following online seminar(s) for each category in which you received a loan. To determine the loans you received while at Biola University, please reference your Financial Aid documents or your student account billing statements. My.Biola provides information on the past year only.
If you have any questions regarding a loan in Category 1 please call the Educational Loan Specialist in the Accounting office at (562) 903-4760. If you have any questions regarding a loan in Category 2 please call the Financial Aid Office at (562) 903-4742.

Students can purchase cap and gown sets at Biola's Campus Store during regular store hours or by calling in an order to the campus store at (562) 903-4883.
Talbot Doctoral Students:
If you are a Talbot doctoral student, your regalia will be ordered for you by Sarah Paulson at Talbot, and your cap, gown, and hood will be available for you to pick up in Myers Hall Room 200. The cost of the rental regalia is $50.00 and will be charged to your student account.
Since doctoral regalia are rented, doctoral graduates must return all regalia to Sarah Paulson in Myers Hall Room 200 immediately following the commencement ceremony.
Cook School of Intercultural Studies Doctoral Students:
If you are a CSICS doctoral student, your regalia will be ordered for you by Thelma McLean X5686, and your cap, gown, and hood will be available for you to pick up in the CSICS main Office. The cost of the rental regalia is $55.00. Please pay the day of the pick up. Please bring your regalia to the Hooding Ceremony on December 20, 2013.
Since doctoral regalia are rented, doctoral graduates must return all regalia immediately following the commencement ceremony to Thelma McLean in the Marshburn Building.
Grad Images will be taking professional photos at your Commencement Ceremony. Within 5 weeks of Commencement, you will receive a full-color proof and an order form at your permanent address from Grad Images. There is no obligation to purchase, and you’ll have the option of ordering from a variety of enlargement packages at very reasonable prices. For more information, please visit www.gradimages.com.
Biola’s professional film crew is producing a DVD of each ceremony that is available to purchase for $34.99 (plus your local sales tax; shipping is included in the price). Learn more and order your DVD. You may also purchase the DVD on site during Commencement rehearsals and ceremonies.
Once your academic requirements are complete and your financial obligations to the University have been met, your diploma will be mailed to you at the permanent address on your University record. Please check my.Biola and update your permanent address if necessary. Allow six to eight weeks for delivery.
Diploma frames are available for purchase at the Biola Bookstore.
